About CE Accreditation & Certificates

A veterinarian may earn up to 25 hours of veterinary continuing education (CE) credit at the Vet KU – Texas A&M Internal Medicine Conference, which is approved by the Office of Continuing Education at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS).

For veterinarians licensed in Texas to receive CE credits, we will have the following procedures in place at the conference.

  • Each registrant will sign an attendance roster at the beginning of the conference.
  • Registrants will receive a printed checklist in their packets so that they may conveniently record which sessions they attend.
  • Remember that to document attendance at the meeting in the case of an audit by Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (TBVME), attendees must present both the CE certificate and the checklist.
  • To be compliant with the regulations of the TBVME, we may not distribute certificates prior to the end of the conference or until the registrant is leaving the conference.
  • Don’t forget to pick up your CE certificate before you leave because certificates that are mailed to participants are not considered proof of attendance by the TBVME.

Please view Texas Administrative Code 573.64 Continuing Education for more information on state of Texas veterinary CE requirements.
